Chico Evening Republican Women organized another Trump Caravan Saturday, August 17th that began before 9am in the Kmart parking lot in Chico. Saturdays Trump Train was the best we’ve done so far, and we are pumped!

We had about 75 or more trucks and cars, decorated with Trump signs, Trump flags, American flags, and window paintings that were fantastic! We travelled up Cohasset Road to Park Avenue, around the corner and up Park Avenue to the downtown area, turned right and travelled alongside the Saturday Farmer’s Market.

CERW had gotten word that the military veterans at the Farmer’s Market requested we do a drive-by, so we cruised the market and honked our horns. We had a bull horn in the lead truck and throughout we were shouting, “Vote Trump, Vote Vance, give America a fighting chance”!

Parents brought their children to the edge of the street to see the parade. We looped from Main Street onto Broadway, then back up Main Street, then drove out Esplanade to 9th Street, where we turned right until we arrived at Oleander Avenue. The new Butte County Republican Party’s 2024 Election Headquarters is located at 1916 Oleander Avenue, and they were having a Grand Opening for the HQ at 11:00 am.

The route ended at the Election HQ, where there were refreshments, local politicians, and Congressman Doug LaMalfa there to greet the happy drivers. The crowd was so large that they had to hold the proceedings outside on the street, rather than inside the building as previously planned. Way to go, Chico Evening Republican Women!
