CA Assembly D3 Candidate Jamie Johansson to Speak June 5, 2025

Chico Evening Republican Women are pleased to welcome Jamie Johansson as our guest speaker for the June 5, 2025 general membership meeting.  Mr. Johansson is running for the California Assembly, District 3, to replace James Gallagher when he leaves his seat in 2026.  The meeting will take place at The Golden Beaver, 2420 Park Avenue, Chico.  5:30 Cocktails, 6:00 Dinner Meeting Begins, 6:45 Speaker.

ABOUT JAMIE JOHANSSON:
Jamie Johansson isn’t your typical candidate. He’s a farmer who knows what it means to work hard, get his hands dirty, and provide for a family. When times were tough, Jamie dug ditches by hand to pay the bills. Those moments taught him the true value of perseverance and grit.

With nothing but passion and a dream, Jamie taught himself to farm olives and citrus, working tirelessly in the fields. In 1998, he began managing orchards in the Oroville area to fulfill contracts supplying olives to the Bay Area and has been a farmer ever since.
