CERW Past President Sherry Gillis hopes our members will consider taking a trip down to Knott’s Berry Farm at the end of September to attend the first ever Golden State Republican Women (GSRW) Biennial Convention.  This is a big deal, because the California statewide Republican women’s organization, to which our club is allied, just formed two years ago in Clovis, Califoria, and this should be quite the party!

The Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is usually more expensive, but GSRW has gotten a really great cut in price for those who book a room in our block.  Those who wish to attend need to book their rooms at the hotel by Sept 12 and register for the event by Sept 15.  Candidate for Governor of California Steve Hilton will be the keynote speaker at the Saturday night banquet.  There are dozens of candidates, politicans, and pundits scheduled to participate.  There will be a renowned line dancing instructor on hand after the Saturday night banquet to give line dancing instructions.

We will be electing the slate of officers for the 2026-2028 term on Saturday.  There will be a prayer breakfast and those officers will be installed on Sunday morning.  GSRW has written and copyrighted the “Contract with California”, which will be premiering at the convention.  More information on the schedule will continue to be added here >> https://gsrw.org/event/gsrw-2025-biennial-convention-at-knotts-berry-farm-sept-26-28-2025/.
