As a first-generation farmer, Jamie quickly faced California’s maze of laws, regulations, and taxes—policies that make it harder for everyday people to live the American dream. Determined to make a difference, Jamie joined the Butte County Farm Bureau Board, was elected to the Oroville City Council, and later served as President of the California Farm Bureau. He fought against tax hikes, bureaucratic regulations, rallied thousands of farmers to the Capitol to protect our water rights, and stood with President Trump to secure a relief package that saved many local farms.

Married to wife Nichole, the couple have three teens they are raising – a girl and two boys.
