After much negotiating, Chico Evening Republican Women now have a new venue for 2026 – The Italian Guy Catering!  The Italian Guy Catering is located at 25 Bellarmine Court in Chico off of Meyer Street.  There are two “The Italian Guy” locations in that same complex:  The Italian Guy Catering at 25 Bellarmine Court, and The Italian Guy Office at 28 Bellarmine Court.

The Italian Guy Catering is located on your left as soon as you pull into the complex.  It is a terrific setup for our club and we really appreciate owner Paul for working with us on this.  The food is going to be delish, and we will have wine and beer, sodas and waters to drink at the new location.  We are excited about this change, because this will enable our club to provide a better, more accommodating set of services during our monthly meetings.

Our first event there was the Red, White and Chic with State Superintendent of Schools candidate Sonja Shaw, also the 2026 membership drive for our club and took place in January.  

Our membership has grown by leaps and bounds and our meetings are well run and pretty exciting!  In January we had Jamie Johansson, candidate for Assembly, February we had Chico Mayor Kasey Reynolds, in March Butte County Supervisor Peter Durfee, and in April we had a fabulous candidate forum with all three of the Assembly candidates:  Andrew Coolidge, Dom Belza, and Jamie Johansson.

We are coming on strong with our club this year, ladies!  We hope you will sign up for our meetings and events and join us as we work for a better Chico, a better California, and a Better America.
